Spring has sprung –
which, so inherently, cues a need for some friendly competition.
Not a sun-drenched game of cornhole, a Pandora dance-off, nor a case race in the Longworth Hall parking lot – in fact, imbibing alcohol is in no way involved, though it may or may not lend to the cause (ahem: http://www.hairlossbuddy.com/6/alcohol/). Scientists are still debating the issue.
Starting Friday, May 29, 2009, David Schlosser and Claire Keys will engage in an all-out tussle of the tresses. Battle of the bristle. War of the wigs. Combat of the coiffures. You get the idea.
Each Friday, Dave and Claire will document their hair growth progress with a candid snapshot – whoever caves first with so much as a trim owes the other a full week of Starbucks beverages – Venti iced redeyes for him, Venti 6-shot soy no-water Chai’s for her – delivered directly to the well-coiffed victor’s desk. With a smile.
Jodi claims Dave used to resemble a samurai back in the day, so things are bound to get interesting.
This could take years.
Or days – particularly if someone illegally enters Claire’s apartment and shaves her head while sleeping.
